VL80K is an AC electric locomotive designed for hauling freight and passenger trains on electrified mainlines. It is a modernized version of the VL80 series, featuring contact-relay control circuitry, which increased reliability and simplified maintenance. The locomotive is known for its durability, high traction power, and stable operation under heavy load conditions.

This DLC includes a highly detailed 3D model of the VL80K with a fully animated driver’s cab, functional control equipment, and accurate behavior of traction and auxiliary systems. Special attention is given to the step-by-step operation of the controller when starting and increasing traction.

The locomotive is modeled without regenerative braking, as in the real VL80K. Braking is performed through pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems with correct pressure transmission.
