Full Description:

The ED2T is an additional rolling stock pack for ZDSimulator, representing the ED2T suburban and regional electric train. This version is a transitional release, created with authentic control logic and basic safety systems.

Current Features:

• Fully working driver’s cab with a functional speedometer.

• Temporary sound set based on the ED4M electric train, to be replaced with a fully realistic sound model in future updates.

• Implemented ALSN train safety system.

• Power system: 3 kV DC

• Maximum speed: up to 120 km/h

• Braking: Electropneumatic and pneumatic

• Driver’s controller: Direct-action with smooth traction adjustment

Planned Updates:

• Complete realistic sound model (traction motors, compressor, braking system)

• Additional cab animations and visual improvements

• Improved traction and rheostatic braking behavior

• Enhanced exterior and texture detailing

This DLC is suitable for daily driving sessions and for route creators who wish to expand their rolling stock library with a typical regional electric train.
