ChS8 is a passenger, two-section, eight-axle electric locomotive operating on 25 kV 50 Hz AC. It was manufactured by Škoda in 1983, 1987, and 1989 for the Soviet railways, with a total of 82 units produced.

It is one of the most powerful passenger electric locomotives used in Russia and Ukraine (former USSR). As of 2017, most of these locomotives remained in regular operation.
