2EL4 — a modern two-section DC electric locomotive for Ukraine.

The 2EL4 was developed based on the technical solutions of the 2ES4 “Sinara” series and adapted for operation on Ukrainian railways. These locomotives are designed to work on lines with 3 kV DC, which is used on a significant part of the western and eastern electrified routes in Ukraine.
