Start by foraging and crafting for survival while training a horse who has been hanging around. Gain the horse's trust through a series of minigames while exploring various points of interest and gathering resources. Craft spiles to tap trees for sap, craft a fishing rod and fish for your food, and learn to make various poultices and food - both with animal meat and vegetarian. Range farther afield when Wind is gentled and find new POIs with more crafting materials, all the while managing your and Wind's stamina.

Just don't take too long exploring, crafting, and training - winter is coming.
