Vlad the Landlord
About this game
Vlad's fed up with the red diet, coffin sores, and fang filing! The vampire business is so old. But legends say that with enough blood, a vampire's humanity will return...
Hunt the neighboring buildings for blood and tenants, using stealth and wit to create a well-assorted pantry of humans in Vlad's mansion. Overcome the growing thirst, spend blood to unlock vampiric powers, fight the sunrise, and ultimately drink enough blood in a single night to make this less-than-optimal landlord human again.
A small single-player genre blend, taking place across three buildings on a single level, where stealth and resource management are equally vital, and unhandled thirst has roguelite consequences
At least 4-8 hours to beat, and then some if you attempt Hard

PROWL THE NIGHT
Keep to the shadows and climb, glide, pick locks, and sneak to approach quietly and bite at the opportune moment. Alerted daypeople will struggle when bitten or flee before then, wasting precious blood.
MAKE TENANTS
At a cost of vamp blood, humans can be made into tenants. The more you drain them first, the lower the cost. Don't get too greedy! And be aware, not all humans make great tenants; garlic-loving chefs and trigger-happy soldiers are an acquired taste.
MANAGE YOUR PANTRY
The mansion only has room for so many tenants, and they perish quickly and recover slowly. It's often wise to save some blood for later.
Sip, don't chug! The more you drain, the harder it is to stop
A good landlord tries to not frighten their tenants, for they tend to overreact and move out
Certain tenants affect their neighbors, for good or bad. Take care where you place them
OVERCOME THE THIRST
After each full moon, the thirst grows. Unless quenched before the next full moon, it will force you into hibernation. The higher your thirst, the longer your slumber, and the more tenants will move out before you wake.
UNLOCK POWERS
As you return to your coffin each night, you may spend blood to unlock and upgrade your vampiric powers – everything from improvements to your vision, climbing, or jumping, to attracting more or better neighbors, or shifting into bat and rat forms.
FIGHT THE SUNRISE
Every night ends in burning daylight, and catching fire means losing blood. Try to avoid the sunlight by sticking to the shade, or head for the safety of your coffin when dawn nears.
