About the Game
VERDURE is an odd generator of plants and trees! It is a creative sandbox where you can trim branches and experiment with growth controls.
There is no story or strict objective. VERDURE is for open-ended plant design, whether shaping a small bonsai tree, letting maple branches sprawl freely, or exploring how different settings affect them. The original soundtrack, retro visuals, and little hands-on growth interactions make the game peculiar.
Each plant is generated from a unique recipe that can be customized through more than 20 parameters, including trunk length, branch thickness, foliage distribution, and color palettes. You can:
Start from a random seed or design your own
Trim and prune branches, or let them grow organically
Edit combinations of backgrounds, foregrounds, and pots to suit your composition
Adjust growth speed and hide the interface for a more focused experience
Maintain a collection of personal favorites across 50+ save slots, with indicative names like ‘Cactus,’ ‘Pine,’ or ‘Sakura’
VERDURE can be enjoyed in short, fidget-friendly sessions or over longer periods to gradually expand your collection and refine each plant’s design.
