WHAT IS TRALE?
TRALE is a specialized translation editor for game and application resources. While TRALE itself does not have a translation function, it can call external translation engines via powershell or dll. It can also invoke powershell or dll implemented by users.
- Comprehensive translation & management of resource files
Import resource files into the editor with one click! You can specify the range of original texts and translations, allowing for integration even with attached supplementary information.
*Supported import file formats: CSV (Comma, Tab delimited) / TXT (expandable via plugins)
- Proofreading, translation, and review in a single screen
It's possible to edit and manage up to four channels concurrently: Original Text (Source), Original Text Proofreading (Preprocess), Translation (Translate), and Translation Verification (Re-Translate).
- Manage translation results by language
Edit, save, or export translation results by language. Translation results are managed per language, with strong compatibility with version control tools like Git. Translation into various languages by multiple translators is possible.
- Easily verify differences between original and translated text
A feature to check differences between the original and the translation is included. If there are corrections or content changes in the original, the corresponding translation field will be displayed in a different color, allowing for efficient translation revision.
- Addable translation engines
By default, translation engines supporting Japanese to English and English to Japanese are available.
Users can freely add and use additional translation engines.
Of course, you can freely choose from the latest online translation services to translation systems on your local network.
