About This Game

Empire of Gensokyo ~ TOHOTOPIA is a lightweight 4X war strategy simulation fan game based on the Touhou Project. Under a series of comical misunderstandings, a 4X game craze has started in Gensokyo! The girls eagerly participate, transforming into emperors and generals from world history, leading civilizations of different styles to explore, develop, expand, and conquer on a vast game board map.

Demo Content

• This demo provides 1 playable faction: Egyptian Empire · Scarlet Dynasty

• It provides the most basic achievements for summoning Great Persons and constructing Wonders.

• It provides support for 2 languages: Chinese, English.

Gameplay Overview

• Choose a Faction: Select one of four initial Gensokyo factions (Palace of the Earth Spirits, Scarlet Devil Mansion, Eientei, Moriya Shrine), which represents a historical empire. Each civilization has unique settings and art style. Each civilization has five special Great Person units with the roles of King, Queen, Rook, Knight, and Bishop, corresponding to 5 girls from the faction. (The demo version only provides the Scarlet Devil Mansion).

• Take Strategic Actions: In a top-down view, explore unknown areas on a grid map, build cities, develop the economy, form an army, and conquer enemies.

• Win/Loss Rules: In Classic Mode, getting the highest score in 30 turns is a victory, otherwise it's a failure. In Conquest Mode, eliminating all other players is a victory, and losing all cities is a failure.

• Game Length: A single game takes about 30 minutes, suitable for casual play and repeated challenges.

• Remilia Scarlet × Osiris: Can the mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion command the majesty of a Pharaoh?

• Satori Komeiji × King Rama: Does the master of the Palace of the Earth Spirits have the wisdom of an ascetic who sees all?

Development Plan

• The full version will add more Gensokyo × Civilization faction combinations, and the same faction will be able to combine with multiple different civilizations.

• The full version will add more Gensokyo girl × historical figure combinations, and the same girl can also join different teams to play different roles.

• Support for multiplayer versus mode.
