THROB
About this game
A nightmare fueled by fear.
THROB is a first-person psychological horror platformer set inside a colossal brutalist structure pulsing like a living heart.
Trapped within a nightmare shaped by her own hemophobia, a young woman must climb toward an unknown exit before panic consumes her completely.
As your heartbeat accelerates, the structure reacts. Platforms shift, hazards activate, and blood begins to rise through the building itself. The higher you climb, the more unstable the nightmare becomes.
Every obstacle follows the beat. Survival depends on observing patterns, timing movement, and adapting to an ever-increasing tempo.
The world is almost entirely monochrome. Red is reserved for what matters: danger, blood, rhythm, and the manifestations of fear itself.
First-person rhythm-based platforming
Platforms and hazards synchronized to the beat
Brutalist monochrome environments with red as the only dominant color
A pressure-based climb focused on timing, readability, and survival
Stylized horror atmosphere with high-contrast visuals
Minimal UI and strong visual language: red means danger
Screenshots and trailer footage are taken from an early vertical slice of THROB. The game is still in active development, so visuals, level design, and gameplay elements will evolve over time.

THROB is a psychological horror platformer where a living brutalist nightmare reacts to your fear. As your heartbeat accelerates, blood rises, the architecture awakens, and the climb becomes increasingly unstable.
