An otherworldly being has entrusted you with the power of the elements to defeat the source of what caused the world to become what it is today. Clear randomly generated dungeons with the element of your choice and obtain gifts from mysterious sources to get stronger each floor before the final confrontation. 

Unique Elements

There are the four core elements (Water, Fire, Earth, Air) all with their unique playstyles that match their element theme. Each core element has two sub-elements that are unlocked in different ways. Each sub-element also has their own unique playstyle. After all the sub-elements are unlocked, perhaps there's more unique elements to be found?

• Water - Splash your enemies with rapid hitting attacks after building up tempo.

• Fire - Burn your enemies with fireballs that get stronger after getting fired up.

• Earth - Crush your enemies with attacks that grow from a pebble to a boulder. 

• Air - Sweep away your enemies as you swiftly traverse the dungeon.

More than a twin-stick shooter

Each element has their unique projectiles, but that's not all. Each element has their own thematic dash/utility, active ability and passive that synergize with themselves. 

Items, Synergies and Upgrades

Throughout the many dungeons you can encounter various items that provide a range of benefits, from a simple stat boost item to items that modify your projectile attack in unique ways. Many of these items can have unique interactions with each element. A moon themed item can have unique effects when playing with a water-based element. 

Along with unique interactions with elements, items can have unique synergies with each other. There are over ## current synergies that are waiting to be discovered to help you in your venture to the end. 

Items are not the only upgrades you can receive in 'The Element Of'. In each dungeon floor, you are able to further upgrade your element's potential with elemental upgrades. These are upgrades specific for your element that can improve your element's specific abilities or even completely modify it. There are endless combinations of items, synergies and element upgrades to discover.
