The Drifting Crown Demo

Alex wanted one thing: to finish her shift and enjoy a pint at her local pub, The Drifting Crown.

Instead, she accidentally shuts down the world's main generator.

Now, power is failing across the land, machines are grinding to a halt, and somebody has to fix it. Unfortunately for Alex, that somebody is Alex.

The Drifting Crown is a Victorian steampunk roguelite where you build the world you'll explore. As you place map tiles, you'll forge your path through a ruined industrial Lake District filled with monsters, rogue machines, and other unpleasant surprises.

But you're not just building roads.

The power restored from the generator must be routed through the world you create. Connect energy to facilities and forgotten corners of the map to unlock rewards, discover opportunities, and strengthen yourself for the challenges ahead.

Every tile is a choice.

Do you take the safer route? Chase valuable upgrades? Extend power to a distant location for a reward? Or risk everything on a path that might leave you stronger... if you survive it?

Because survival is far from guaranteed.

Death is part of the journey. Every failed expedition teaches you something new, unlocking fresh strategies and helping you build a better run the next time around. Along the way, you'll discover upgrade stations, hidden treasures, and the occasional friendly jumping chest that offers a rare moment of healing, relief, and confusion.

In this demo, Alex must restore a key section of the world's power network by repairing a generator, reactivating relay stations, and bringing electricity back to the places that need it most.
