The Book and Sword is a lightning-fast action roguelite that combines highly customizable programmable skills with Diablo-style loot and meta-progression. Unleash your creativity by deconstructing, combining, and reinventing martial arts techniques—experience the pride of mastering your own unique combat style, inspired by the philosophy of Butchering Boxing. With extensive equipment that carries over and upgrades outside runs, the game minimizes repetitive grind while delivering both the thrill of looting and the satisfaction of permanent progression.

Customizable Combos and Ultimate Skills System: Different moves can be chained, and players can freely slot in skills. The longer the combo, the lower the inner energy consumption. Characters have independent action modules for different weapons, with clear feedback during combat. Players can also customize their own unique combat style.

High-Interaction Combat: A complete resilience system is in place, affecting both players and enemies with mechanics like blocking and stagger states. Attacks can trigger effects like floating or crowd control, and with high-reactivity NPC, players are encouraged to flexibly use dodge, counterattacks, and other tactics to respond to different situations.

Light Roguelike Gameplay: Combat mechanics within each session are random, with ultimate skill books being randomly obtained per session and resetting upon leaving. This doesn’t affect the character's base stats. Off-battle equipment and resource items are permanently retained and can be used for long-term character development.
