Talystro is a roguelite dice-and-deckbuilder whit a mathematical twist. The Necrodicer has started the forbidden ritual of Talystro, twisting the very math of the universe to her wicked will. In this demo version, you'll face off against a horde of her numerical underlings, and take out one of her commanders, the Keeper of the Flame.

Match your Enemy

Instead of chipping away at your enemy's HP, you'll instead try and match their value to instantly take them out. Your cards contain one or more unfinished calculations and you'll use your dice to complete them.

Outnumbered

Each encounter will have you face off against multiple numerical adversaries, twisted and turned by the dark magic of Talystro. It's up to you to determine how to best deal with them and in what order!

Weapons of Choice

Collect, upgrade and enchant your cards. As your enemies grow in value (and numbers!), finding cards to give you the flexibility to deal with them will be key. The calculations on your cards often refer to variables, like the number of dice for instance; Since these variables change during the round, the order of operations will be important -- countless possibilities and room for optimization! The cards can also contain various triggers, modifiers and spell effects.

The Crossroads

At the Crossroads you'll get to choose your next combat encounter and its associated rewards. Find the right balance of risk versus rewards, spend your gold at the two shop and reach your quarry, the Keeper of the Flame.

This Demo

This demo features a limited set of cards and artifacts, with some meta progression in the form of card unlocks. The demo will also be limited to a single specialized act, while our complete game will feature three.
