Shine on Savior takes place in 2009 in the city of New Delmarr. You play as Roy Rogers who leaves New Delmarr for work for a few months and comes back to see his city overrun with Dregs (a person that is transformed into a being that feeds off of people to gain intelligence and evolve). Your mission is to save the city of New Delmarr from the Dregs, reconnect with your friends and find the truth of what happened to your city.

Shine On Savior is an action platformer that takes you through the city of New Delmarr and kill hundreds of dregs. Anything in this city can be used as a weapon (baseball bats, street signs, boxes). A ritual has been set in New Delmarr in which all of the humans and dregs resurrect upon death, in which the dregs have unlimited food sources to feed. The player will lose levels, weapons, food, and books upon dying. The player will always spawn back at the Savior shelter.
