"Shenjing" demo is a side-scrolling mystery game set in the Ming Dynasty with a traditional Chinese aesthetic. Players begin with amnesia, taking on the temporary identity of a "Ming Dynasty Inspector." By investigating evidence, witness testimonies, and meticulously piecing together clues to determine the involvement of each character, players must uncover the truth behind the case. Along the way, players will encounter traps and obstacles, requiring a thorough understanding of traditional Chinese divination techniques such as the Five Elements, Qimen Dunjia, and Bagua to escape perilous situations. However, reconstructing clues, piecing together the case, and revealing the culprit are only part of the process; the true mystery lies in the identities of the various characters within the game.
