Residual Light
About this game
ABOUT THE GAME
Residual Light is a slow-burn psychological horror game where reality shifts when you’re not looking, places feel familiar without explanation, and rest is never truly safe.
You play as Naomi, a woman stranded on an empty road, searching for somewhere to stop, just for the night. But the world around her behaves strangely. Paths appear where none existed. Sounds repeat. Spaces feel remembered rather than discovered.
As she explores abandoned environments and fragmented spaces, moments of clarity become rare. The only relief comes from sitting… resting… letting everything go quiet… before continuing again.
But something is wrong with her perception.
Something is missing.
And something is waiting to be understood.
GAMEPLAY

Minimal guidance — observe, listen, and interpret what feels wrong
Rest points that interrupt reality and blur the line between waking and dreaming
The world does not behave consistently.
Memory cannot be trusted.
Not everything can be reached.
Not everything should be understood.
