An unknown outbreak has erased people’s good emotions, turning them into hate-filled Kagebito who can still use their intelligence. Asumi, journeys through a world in chaos to save her friend Yuna.

In present-day Japan, on a spring day, an outbreak of unknown cause and origin begins. It turns people, one by one, into zombie-like, malicious monsters. During the transformation, all good emotions disappear, leaving only hatred and dark feelings behind.
