In this free demo of Pieces Left Behind, you play as Meredith Carter as she returns to her late grandmother’s home. You will explore four rooms in the house: the living room, kitchen, basement, and playroom. Each space contains personal belongings that reveal Peggy Carter’s life during the 1940s to 1970s.

Some of the keepsakes you discover will trigger voiced memories, while others quietly tell their story through handwritten notes, photographs, and other traces of the past.

This is a narrative-focused walking simulator with no combat or puzzles. The demo offers approximately 40 minutes of reflective gameplay and includes:

• First-person exploration and object interaction
• Four memory sequences covering the 1940s through 1970s
• Thirty-three examinable items including letters, drawings, and household objects
• English voice acting with subtitles available in 11 languages
• Two lighting atmospheres: night and early morning

This demo does not include content from the 1980s to 2020s. Areas such as the garden, attic, and exterior are not part of the demo.
