Phantom Tower features two game modes:

In Climb Mode, the game's main mode, you can explore the tower collecting materials, resources, and equipment to bring back outside. With what you recover, you can forge new weapons, upgrade your gear, and prepare to reach higher and higher floors of the tower.

In Survival Mode, you can put your experience to the test by facing infinite hordes of monsters, choosing your equipment, and trying to survive as long as possible. Every defeat, however, is final.
