Out of Light
About this game
In this pulp-adventure roguelite, light is life. Your torch steadily burns down as you sprint through procedural, trap-laced temples in search of ancient artifacts. Doors seal behind you; survive each encounter, loot fast, and move before the darkness swallows you. Tight, readable combat works with keyboard/mouse or controller.
From a cozy hub study, chart expeditions across biomes like the Buried Temple and Flooded Catacombs. A ruthless rival force—black-ops commandos (soldiers, snipers, ninjas)—races you to the prizes, while artifact-warped creatures (twisted golems and worse) prowl the ruins. Meanwhile, a fanatical cult known as the Order of the Eclipse seeks the relics for an apocalyptic ritual.
Core Features
Torch = Health. Your torch drains over time; refuel or die. Managing radius, pathing, and timing is the heart of every run.
Room-by-room combat. Enter a chamber, doors lock, defeat enemies, grab loot, move on—focused, readable encounters.
Procedural temples. Each temple layouts, hazards, and enemy compositions changes for fresh routing and tension.
Meaningful upgrades. Between rooms/bosses, pick build-defining cards (gun mods, torch perks, mobility, defense, elements) with smart tagging so choices fit your current weapon.
Boss arenas with clear reads. Set-piece fights emphasize positioning, line-of-sight, and pattern mastery.

Top-down roguelite where light is life. Dive through procedural, trap-laced temples, outfight rival commandos and artifact-warped creatures. Snappy combat (KB/mouse & controller) and fast, nerve-wracking runs.
