Paige Crowley has a dilemma. Following the success of her recent series of children’s books, Paige has found herself struggling with a particularly persistent strain of writer’s block. Fearful that her creative energy has gone for good, Paige decides to use her newly accrued cash to move out of the ever-busy London and into a quaint old home buried deep in the English countryside. Paige hopes that a change of pace will reverse her fortunes, and she’ll finally be able to write a new fantasy epic her fans will adore… But Paige gets rather more than she bargained for when she discovers her lovely new home already has an occupant. A brownie called Faye lives there, and she has been watching over the home for centuries.
