About this game
This is a demo version of OBTRUDER. It features only one location (a factory) with one boss. Enemies and upgrades are also present. The demo includes a tutorial and is not fully localized (only available in two languages). This version is perfect if you want to try the game before adding it to your wishlist!
Gameplay:
In ORBTRUDER, you control a small killer robot ball that ricochets off walls and enemies. Gameplay is divided into a series of locations, each ending in a boss fight. Each location is procedurally generated anew each game session and is divided into rooms. The rooms have doors that open only after all enemies in front of them have been defeated.
Orbtruder features mini-quests and special events that can grant the player upgrades for their robot. The robot can run, jump, hover, choose its attack direction, and fire. Each enemy has weak points, and depending on the damage to these weak points, the robot will change its behavior. If the player dies, the game restarts. All upgrades are lost, but any achievements unlocked remain.
Story:
A mysterious scientist living in a secret underground base creates a small killer robot ball (Orbtruder) and sends it to a mysterious corporation's Skyscraper on the seashore with orders to blow everything up!
But it's not that simple: beneath the seemingly respectable business lies a veritable evil empire: experimenting on people, developing cutting-edge weapons, and exploiting workers.
Will Orbtruder be able to fulfill its mission, or will it become another pile of junk, like its predecessors?
Key Features:
Diverse finishing animations. Most enemies have multiple weak points: their arms, legs, heads, etc. can be severed. This makes combat more varied and exciting.
Unique ricochet attack mechanics. The attack is performed by aiming a shot or ricocheting it at an enemy. A well-placed trajectory allows you to eliminate multiple targets at once.
A multitude of enemies, bosses, and upgrades. The game is planned to feature over 8 locations, over 30 enemies and bosses, and over 100 upgrades.
