Ocean in the Cold Sky Demo

About this game

You puppeteer your sword's collision in this game with either gamepad or mouse, and you can deflect attacks or dismember your enemies. The player can fly a bit, glide, and bunnyhop to maintain momentum if you're brave enough.

This demo includes a gauntlet made from small slices of levels in progress, and can be cleared in 5-10minutes, though the gameplay is so initially bizarre that people tend to take hours to reach the end. I can at least promise a unique experience; the accepted conventions of most games like not being able to move freely while melee attacking are gone with their familiarity, but even your grandma will find it surprisingly intuitive after a moment to adjust.

GAMEPAD CONTROLS: target with the right stick and hold the right trigger to swing your sword. Your sword will only cut with enough momentum driving it. If it gets stuck in a body, you can let it pull back directly to you to get unstuck.

LB+up to jump, LB+sideways to run, LB+down to drop through stairs and objects. Hold LB in the air to glide and hold left trigger to fly a bit. Press A to activate your lantern.

MOUSE CONTROLS: WASD to move, hold left click to swing your sword at your mouse cursor. Your sword will only cut with enough momentum driving it. If it gets stuck in a body, you can let it pull back directly to you to get unstuck.

KNOWN GLITCHES: The level may generate incorrectly, due to the system not having the assets it needs to resolve special cases.
