NIPH is a stylish roguelite platformer with risky and intense combat. Slash, shoot, and learn and cast spells with more varied items as you explore a vast and diverse fantasy world!

This demo is an opportunity to participate in the game's development by giving your feedback on its current state and what you'd like to see in the future. Many thanks for testing! The final version will be available by late February. Until then, there will be various updates whenever something is added or fixed, so keep an eye on the changes and have fun!

The demo only includes the Ruins, one of the 12 areas in the final game, and does not include local multiplayer (yet).

Customize Your Character

Choose from various hair styles, outfits, and colors. Make your character look exactly how you want! Create multiple different characters and embark on new adventures!

Start in the Greenhorn's Haven

Every journey begins in the Greenhorn's Haven. Here, adventurers receive basic supplies for their quest, such as an initial weapon of their choice. After solving basic starting challenges, they can hop on one of the ziplines that lead to the four corners of the map and explore NIPH!

Explore a Diverse World

NIPH's world features 12 different areas to explore. These areas harbor unique creatures, each with their distinct challenges and items that can only be obtained in those biomes. With each new run, the world is procedurally generated, bringing fresh challenges. Exploring NIPH's diverse areas is essential for your character to become a true master!

Choose Your Arsenal

Every item in the game teaches a unique special ability when the player accumulates enough experience. Learned abilities can then be used even without the item equipped! As items gain experience, they also increase the character's attributes like strength and intelligence, meaning items are the primary means of progression in the game. Choose between swords, hammers, shields, staves, and even musical instruments and more!

Face Epic Bosses

Each area of the game features its own dungeons with great rewards. Solve fun puzzles, find amazing new items, and confront challenging enemies to learn new spells, since your skills will be tested by the area boss! There are two possible bosses in each biome, and they are chosen by chance, so be prepared to be surprised!

Don't Fear Death!

NIPH is a challenging roguelite, so getting defeated from time to time is part of the journey. The game's creatures are intelligent, and reaching the boss can be a great challenge, not to mention defeating them, so don't be discouraged if Game Over strikes. Upon death, you lose a bit of progress, but most of your power remains intact, so a new journey is a chance to learn new abilities and become even more incredible!
