Monarchs at Play is a turn-based 4X strategy game without endless marathons or unnecessary micromanagement. Simple rules: every action in the game is handled through constructing buildings. Combine them to maximize your production, unleash satisfying adjacency bonuses, explore new terrain and engage with rival monarchs. Play solo or with friends – every match usually lasts around one hour, perfect for game nights or relaxed sessions.Every monarch offers unique abilities and a dedicated campaign mission, doubling as an interactive onboarding. Examples: A Lumberjack generates Material for each Forest within 1 tile range. A Sawmill doubles the production of nearby Lumberjacks. A Guild Hall boosts both Lumberjacks and Quarries within 2 tiles range.
