About the Demo

This demo is one full story mission taken straight from the main game (set roughly after the first hour). It is a true slice of MATCHO: exploration, dialogue, puzzles, collectibles, and combat in one run.

MAX'S FIRST MISSION

Max and his friend Jetsen head to the outskirts of Laguna Ik (Mexico) to investigate a mysterious signal. The area is crawling with alien bugs, and Max is the only one who can react to them.

TRY OUT THE REALTIME MATCH-3 COMBAT

Max's condition, once a curse, becomes a weapon. Your shots tag enemies, and when you tag at least three of the same color, you trigger an explosion.

In MATCHO, you need to think about the way you fight. It is aim > plan > execute. Tag targets, build chains, execute combos, and take control of the fight.

MOVE. THINK. CONNECT EVERYTHING.

The mission also showcases traversal and mobility, including double jump, wall running, jump pads, and a grappling hook. You will also hit puzzle sections that use the Match-3 idea in a different way than combat.

LENGTH

Most players finish the demo in 40 to 60 minutes.

ABOUT FULL GAME

The demo contains a real mission from the full game (one of the first ones). If you enjoy the pacing and the mix of systems here, you will feel right at home in MATCHO.

MATCHO builds on what you play in the demo with 15+ missions, more locations to explore, more puzzle variety, more mechanics to play with and a deeper power-fantasy story with choices that shape Max, his friends, and the fate of Earth.
