After combat, you decide how to use what remains:<ul class="bb_ul"><li>extract genes from defeated enemies;</li><li>preserve specimens for later processing;</li><li>combine genes into chains;</li><li>unlock active skills through gene chains;</li><li>reshape your build as new threats appear.</li></ul>Your character does not level up in the usual way. Instead, you develop through the Gene Map: placing genes, forming chains, modifying skill properties, and changing your build during the run.Corruption grows as you descend.
