Meet the Cast

Paloma Carrillo — The Doula
Paloma is Lucia Carrillo's older sister and a community doula who has spent her life keeping other women safe—only to watch her own sister be permanently harmed by Lowell's agency. She doesn't come for a payout; she comes for an answer that money can't replace. With Lowell, she finds herself drawn to the steadiness she has always provided for everyone else… and torn apart by what it would mean to accept it from him.



Rosalind "Roz" Aldous — The Medical Director
Roz is Mariposa's clinical conscience: brilliant, exacting, and the doctor who flagged Lucia's life-threatening risk—only to be overruled until her signature became part of the harm. Briar Nash — The Abolitionist
