When the hunter becomes the hunted...

Hunt for the Lost Folktales is a folklore hunting, turn-based RPG-lite where you follow pawprint and scent trails to track down folktale beasts escaping from their storybooks, engage in strategic turn-based combat where fear is your strength, and capture their lost tales to return to the Library so they may live on in memory. Will you be another folktale to be written or will you rewrite your own story?

This demo provides players a glimpse of the gameplay loop for the investigation and tracking of folktale trails, strategic fear-stacking turn-based battles with these folktale creatures, getting hunt contracts from the bird scribes in the Library, and upgrading your party beasts from the rewards you have collected.

Demo gameplay content features 2 hunt contracts through 6 level locations, roughly 30 battles total plus 2 elder folktale challenges, many hidden dig sites and buried story scrolls to find, 2 Writer's Block puzzles to solve for special Ink Stamp combat passives, and 1 party recruit with upgrades available to improve their stats and skills.

The average playtime for the demo's main storyline is around 45mins-1hour and is estimated to be around 2 hours for completing all combat encounters and collecting all story scrolls/ink stamps/folktale books.
