Hikikomori life
About this game
There is a gap in the hero’s memory: one event that feels as if it never happened. Something dark inside will not let him remember. All that remains is a dull anxiety, fear, and a sense of hopelessness. At night, nightmares come. By day, the world shrinks to four walls, food, sleep, and a screen.
Video games have become the only thing that helps him hold on. He sees everyday life through their lens: eating, sleeping, earning a little money, surviving one more day. Each day like that is a way not to fall into the emptiness inside.
One day, a talking cat appears in the apartment. He is far too sure of himself and is clearly hiding something, but he is the one who opens the way to a parallel world.
Everything is different there. The dungeon follows its own rules: rooms, enemies, trials. The deeper the hero descends and the stronger he becomes, the more clearly what was locked inside him begins to surface.
This is a short story about a person who, for the first time, dares to step beyond four walls and face what he has been hiding from for so long.
