STORY

The Enclave — the last fortified settlement, built from the ruins of a megacity after the Awakening War. Fifty years ago, humanity paid an unthinkable price to silence the Core — the central machine intelligence that nearly wiped humankind off the face of the earth. You grew up after the war. You know it only from the stories of the elders and the lessons taught in the bunker-school.
Then one of the Core's dormant nodes begins to wake.
You're a trainee cartographer, granted access to the Dead Zone scouting parties for the first time. Every expedition draws you closer to those who survived the war, or grew up in its shadow — to their fears, their secrets, and the things they hide even from themselves. Trust builds slowly: around a fire after a dangerous night, in the silence between two words, in the choice to stay close when it would be easier to walk away.
The closer the Core comes to waking, the clearer one thing becomes: the battle fought fifty years ago never ended. It was only waiting — for someone willing to get close enough, and to trust enough, not to face what comes next alone, when the time comes to choose between the weapon and the word.
