Heatwave is a 2d fighting game and visual novel, set many years after apocalyptic heatwaves have made most of the Earth uninhabitable. Now, humanity is split between Earth, the Moon, and the Underworld...
Take control of 15+ unique fighters in classic game modes, such as Arcade, Survival, Local Vs, Combo Trial, and more! Then, discover their stories through a 42 chapter visual novel story mode!
Choose between 3 unique fighting styles, which drastically change how the game plays!
Speed Mode: A fast, movement and combo based fighting mode, geared towards beginners.
Power Mode: Limited movement and cancels, but a stronger parry, higher damage, and special overdrive state to compensate.
Team Mode: Instead of an assist, pick a second character to fight alongside, and gain access to powerful setups and pressure by switching places with them.
