About this game

Game Pulse: 2023 Season Set

Step into a season of historic individual greatness and a first-time champion. This set brings the complete 2023 professional baseball season to Game Pulse — all 30 teams, every player, and authentic ballpark cards reflecting real-world park factors.

What's Included

  • All 30 team rosters with full player cards (position players and pitchers)

  • Every major league ballpark, with ratings derived from 2023 park performance data

  • New ratings built from the full 2023 regular season and postseason

Card Generation

Every card is generated from actual 2023 season statistics. Batter and pitcher ratings are built from real performance data across the full season, with park factors computed from each stadium's run environment — so Ronald Acuña Jr.'s card reflects his 40/70 masterpiece, and every ballpark plays the way it played.

Two Seasons for the Ages

2023 will be remembered for two of the most extraordinary individual seasons ever recorded. Ronald Acuña Jr. became the first player in history to hit 40 home runs and steal 70 bases in the same season, putting up a .337/.416/.596 line on his way to a unanimous NL MVP. Shohei Ohtani won his second AL MVP — also unanimous — hitting 44 home runs while posting a 3.14 ERA on the mound, cementing himself as a generational two-way talent unlike anything the game has ever seen. Both feats are baked into their cards: real numbers, real outcomes, every plate appearance.

A Season Full of Stars

Beyond Acuña and Ohtani, 2023 was packed with stars at the peak of their craft. Mookie Betts, Aaron Judge, Corey Seager, Freddie Freeman, Matt Olson, and Juan Soto anchored lineups across both leagues. Corbin Carroll won NL Rookie of the Year and helped power the Diamondbacks' run to October. Gerrit Cole won the AL Cy Young. Spencer Strider led the majors in strikeouts. Blake Snell won the NL Cy Young. Every star's real 2023 performance is here, card for card.

Relive the 2023 World Series

Texas Rangers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks. The Rangers won the first championship in franchise history, taking the series in five games behind Corey Seager's second World Series MVP. Texas went undefeated on the road throughout the entire postseason — an unprecedented run. The Diamondbacks, an 84-win team that snuck into the playoffs as a Wild Card, made an improbable run of their own to get there. Replay it batter by batter, manage either side, or run the series a few dozen times to see how often history repeats itself. Every at-bat, every pitching change, every ballpark detail — all driven by the real 2023 cards and the roll of the dice.

A Cards and Dice Baseball Game

Game Pulse is a true cards and dice baseball simulation. Every plate appearance is resolved by player cards and dice rolls — the same tactile, statistically driven experience that tabletop fans have loved for decades, brought to life digitally with full animation, sound, and presentation.
