Night has fallen, and the witch has finally fallen asleep.
Unfortunately, the mosquitoes have arrived too.

In For The Witch, you control a small guardian tasked with protecting a sleeping witch from swarms of mosquitoes. The witch is the core objective, and every wave pushes you to fight, grow, reposition, and survive just a little longer.

Bullet Heaven Combat with Defense Pressure

This is not just about running around and clearing enemies.
The witch rests at the center of the battlefield, and keeping her safe is the heart of every run.

You need to manage your position, respond to incoming threats, collect experience, choose upgrades, and keep enemies away from the witch. The guardian can stand back up, but if the witch wakes up, the night is over.

Build Around Mechanic-Changing Items

Collect items that do more than simply raise your numbers. Many items change how you fight, grow, defend, and recover during a run.

Build around projectiles, melee attacks, range, healing, critical hits, shop economy, experience collection, revival timing, and other mechanics. Different item combinations can push your run in very different directions.

Awaken Items, Unlock New Effects

Some items can awaken after meeting certain conditions, gaining new mechanical roles in your build.

Awakening is not just a simple stat increase. It can change how an item works, how it fits into your strategy, and when you may want to shift your build direction.

For The Witch uses a soft, low-detail 2D art style with cute characters, fantasy everyday items, and a cozy nighttime atmosphere built around one simple idea: protecting a witch while she sleeps.
