False Positive
About this game
THE FEAR ISN'T WHAT'S HUNTING YOU — IT'S WHAT'S ALREADY LEARNED YOU
False Positive is a co-op psychological horror game where separation breeds paranoia and your own voice becomes the weapon used against you.
WHAT MAKES FALSE POSITIVE DIFFERENT
This isn't about jump scares. This is about the moment you hear your teammate's voice calling from down the hall and realizing they're standing right next to you.
The entity doesn't speak. It listens. It records your callouts, your panic, your pleas for help. Then it plays them back at the worst possible moment, from behind a door you're about to open, from the hallway where no one should be.
CORE EXPERIENCE
YOUR VOICE, WEAPONIZED
Everything you say is captured. The entity doesn't generate fake dialogue — it uses your actual words, making every playback horrifyingly authentic.
FORCED SEPARATION
Objectives require players to split up. You can't stay together. And when you're alone in that corridor, every sound becomes a question.
RADIO INTERFERENCE
Your comms work... mostly. But during critical moments, interference makes it impossible to verify who's really speaking.
THE "IT KNOWS I KNOW" MOMENT
When you catch the impersonation, the entity doesn't fight. It panics. That brief freeze, that sharp inhale then it's gone. And you're left wondering when it'll try again.
THE HORROR OF UNCERTAINTY
"Was that you?" becomes the most terrifying question
Trust erodes naturally through gameplay, not scripted betrayal
You can never prove who just spoke — only suspect
The enemy wins by making you doubt your teammates

WHO IS THIS FOR?
Players who loved the social horror of:
Among Us (but want it embedded in gameplay, not voting)
Lethal Company (but want the fear focused on each other)
Phasmophobia (but want something that listens back)
If you've ever looked at your friend's character and thought "Is that actually them?" — this game was made for that feeling.
IMPORTANT
This game requires 2-4 players with voice chat. There is no single-player mode.

Your voice is the enemy. In this co-op psychological horror, an entity records what you say then uses your own words against your teammates. When you hear a friend call for help... is it really them?
