Eyes of the Forest is a third-person stealth adventure set in a quiet, post-human woodland where survival depends on patience, observation, and restraint. You play as Thistle, a small mouse navigating a world reclaimed by nature, guided by Russel, an older and more experienced companion who understands the forest’s dangers. Towering ruins, tangled roots, and dimly lit paths create an environment where every movement matters and safety is never guaranteed.

Rather than relying on combat, the game emphasizes careful traversal, environmental awareness, and creative problem-solving. Players must read the terrain, manage light and sound, and move deliberately through spaces designed to feel intimate yet threatening. Russel’s presence shapes the journey, offering guidance and context as the world slowly reveals traces of the past through environmental storytelling.

With a grounded sense of scale and atmosphere, Eyes of the Forest builds tension through vulnerability rather than power. Each encounter rewards patience and curiosity, encouraging players to think carefully about how they move, hide, and survive as Thistle follows Russel deeper into the forest.
