There dwells the people of below, creatures of myths and legends, guarding the treasures of the underworld against those from above. The races from the surface have always coveted the rare ores and gems hidden in the ground, in dark caves under mighty mountains, and have more than once provoked the ire of the native inhabitants by their greed. Many wars have been fought for acquiring the wealth and hopes of the underworld.
