Hector, a blood descendant of the old royal family, is taken to a foreign land by Matvey — his aide-de-camp, blood relative, and caretaker — where they hide away in a cramped rented apartment.Limited by disability, identity, and a language barrier, Hector is almost entirely confined to this enclosed space. The television plays programs he cannot understand. Outside the window lies a daily life he can never truly reach. Meanwhile, Matvey occupies multiple roles at once: caretaker, aide-de-camp, relative, and servant.Entangled in care, loyalty, blood, and power, Hector’s cruelty and Matvey’s endurance gradually form a distorted cycle from which neither can escape.
