About this game

Continue the story of the Dawnsbury Four and finish the fight against the invading demonic armada in this level 10–15 expansion, which continues the mainline story of Dawnsbury Days!

You may start with pregens or import your party from the end of Good Little Children, or from the end of The Profane Barrier (in which case you'll level up twice at the beginning of this expansion).

This expansion is the largest expansion yet, greater in scope than the base game and all previous expansions combined. It brings you more hand-crafted tactical encounters, but also a storyline with both epic scale and human moments.

Lead your party through this world-spanning adventure as they grapple with the demands the world places on high-level heroes!

Level up to level 15

This new adventure spans six character levels, and goes from level 10 to level 15.

Experience high-level combat based on the second edition of a powerful tabletop rule system:

  • Cast powerful level 6, level 7, and level 8 spells such as disintegrate, finger of death and maze.

  • Acquire powerful high-level feats such as Combat Reflexes, Whirlwind Strike, or Quicken Spell.

  • Equip strong items and customize them with multiple runes of your choice. Give your items personal names. Augment your loadout with high-level worn items and perhaps also artifacts!

  • Fight encounters your way — Maybe you want to just blast and Strike? Maybe you want to dimensional anchor first to stop your foes from teleporting? Maybe you will upcast haste and slow to massively turn action economy in your favor? Maybe you'll come equipped like a Christmas tree and rely on your treasure?

  • Defeat powerful foes — from a remorhaz who would swallow you whole and boil you alive, to a frost giant with a chill breath, to a demilich with powerful single-use spells, fight your way through a wide variety of enemies!

45+ new encounters

This expansion contains more encounters than the base game and the two previous expansions combined. In addition, The Four-Leaf Clover encounters often contain more multiple rooms, dialogue, alternate victory conditions, hidden secrets, or are otherwise special.

For example:

  • Solve the clockwork guardians' riddle to prevent them from releasing a dangerous enemy

  • Protect a friendly dragon from foes who pursued it on board your sailing ship

  • Spare or pursue fleeing foes — with consequences for future encounters

  • Trapped in a room that's rapidly filling with lava — how will you escape in time?

  • Noncombat encounters — gain the trust of future allies by proving your knowledge and skill

Six chapters of a world-spanning adventure

The Four-Leaf Clover sees your heroes move out from their hometown of Dawnsbury and embark on a world-spanning adventure as they collect the pieces of an artifact that will save the world from the invading demonic armies.

  • Sail to the forested island kingdom of Arborea, where you must make friends of the local sylvan spirits to gain their aid in your quest.

  • Brave the endless cold of the Frozen North as you fight giants and frost worms... and perhaps enjoy a little break in mountain hot springs?

  • Ascend the mysterious Phase Spire in the rainforests of the Blooming South. The portents you saw before make you think you should hurry...

  • Join the Kingdom's soldiers in the Western Reaches and experience the eight-year war firsthand. Lead the charge alongside the armies of humankind!

  • And perhaps more...?

Character stories

Against the backdrop of the epic save-the-world storyline, experience the world through the eyes of your heroes and lead them through their own struggles:

  • How will Anna deal with the the burden of the fate of the world resting on her shoulders alone?

  • Can Scarlet support Anna as a fellow leader? As a friend? Or perhaps... as something more?

  • Will Tok'dar's new paladin training allow him to ground the party in doing what's right, as opposed to what's convenient?

  • Saffi, for himself, will probably just have a good time, adventuring with his friends!

Experience the lives of the Dawnsbury Four closer than before, not just through cutscenes, but also through special optional side-content!

Home base!

At the end of the first chapter, you'll obtain a bracelet of Archibald's magnificent mansion, and with it, an extraplanar homebase that's always with you!

  • Improvements — Add additional rooms into your mansion. Build laboratories, devices, and chambers to acquire more items or to receive combat benefits. Gain the ability to embark on sidequests. Better protect your mansion with additional defenses. Make your mansion prettier. You choose what to prioritize. 

  • Scenes — Experience slice-of-life scenes of the Dawnsbury Four and their allies during downtime. Read books with Saffi, discuss ethical dilemmas with Tok'dar, or perhaps do a little romantic roleplaying with Anna and Scarlet!

  • Library — Find or purchase books to fill in the mansion's library, learn the lore of Our Point of Light, and get minor combat benefits!

Full voice acting!

The Four-Leaf Clover expansion will be fully voice-acted, and most creatures you'll meet, whether allies or enemies, will have a speaking role.

From mainline quest conversations where you interrogate a deity with a commune spell, through side-content slice-of-life scenes where the boys discuss what's the best magic item in the universe, to precombat taunts where you attempt to intimidate gnolls into fleeing, everyone will speak!
