In Darkened Halls, you play as a run-down mechanical guardian. Long past its prime but still watchful for those who would trespass in it's sanctuary, you awaken for the first time in a long time to newly whirring cameras, upgraded locks, and a nightguard standing watch. You must harness your anger, sharpen your hearing, and soften your footsteps to show them once and for all why you will always be the true guardian of this place. 

Originally created in 3 days for a game jam, Darkened Halls was inspired by the developer's admiration for many of the titans of the horror genre, as well as the challenge communities that have sprung up around them. After being significantly reworked, polished, and expanded, the hope is that this game will give players a fresh spin on many beloved horror tropes, while also offering a unique gameplay experience that has never quite been done before.
