Cyan Soul (Demo)

About this game

Cyan Soul is a fast paced, action-puzzle, boss-rush game inspired by games like Cuphead and Galaga.

In this demo, you play as a small, but cute ghost-looking dude. You can move up, down, right and left with WASD, and Spacebar for a quick dash that gives you invincibility for a moment. This lets you move around the stage with ease while also damaging smaller enemies! The Spacebar also lets you throw objects that you pick up. Be careful though, you can't hold an object and dash at the same time!

When you get enough points from smashing enemies and whittling down the boss health, you can push E to gain a powerful move. The first one, a small red orb, works as a normal projectile and deals 10 HP damage. If you wait for a maximum power-up bar, you gain access to Cyan Fire– a powerful form that grants invincibility and lets you run right into the boss to deal 30 HP of damage! Watch out, if you get hit, your power-up bar takes a hit, too!

With this demo, you choose between 3 stages:

Swamp Romp, a straightforward vine-covered swamp monster (I recommend beating this guy first)

Cow-spiracy, which is a creepy little alien abduction (There's more to the story if you look hard enough)

Big and Hexy, where you battle a big ugly witch and her cute cat!

Your objective is to pick up objects from around the stage and hurl them at the boss! The health bar for the boss is located at the bottom of the screen. Aim for 3 stars and the best time and score!

Keep in mind that this is just a free demo. I'm hard at work on the full game! Stay tuned!
