Cutter: Nightshift

About this game

You are alone in the office.

Or at least, that’s what you try to believe.

In Cutter, a first-person psychological horror game, you follow June, an office worker who starts taking night shifts after the unexplained disappearance of a coworker and close personal friend. What begins as corporate routines, doubts, and quiet questions slowly turns into silent tensions and unsettling mysteries, becoming a week filled with growing unease, uncertainty, and fear.

The game unfolds across the workweek, from Monday to Friday, inside an office building with a 1990s atmosphere. Each night deepens the narrative, revealing fragments of the story through documents, notes, and subtle environmental details. There is no rush, only the constant feeling that something is wrong.

The threat is never clear.

Maybe it’s just exhaustion.

Maybe guilt.

Maybe the unsettling feeling of being watched.

Light can help or get in the way. Dark environments are dangerous, but using a flashlight is not always safe. Every choice matters, and a single mistake can change everything.

The real challenge is making it through the week without knowing what is real. In Cutter, doubt is what keeps you moving forward.
