Meet Curtains. An exiled alien clown in search of a home. While passing through a distant galaxy, he was forced to land when his ship's fuel cells ran dry. Now stranded in a far away world, Curtains must find fuel for his ship and return to space... or perhaps another way to continue his journey?

Use simple platforming mechanics like wall jumps and double jumping to guide Curtains through a treacherous world in search of a way to continue (or end) his journey. Hidden away in seemingly unreachable places are 6 items that hold the keys to various exits. Find and bring an item to its corresponding NPC/world object to discover what fate will become of our clown friend.</p><h2 class="bb_tag" >The Plot</h2><p class="bb_paragraph" >An alien life form who inexplicably resembles a rather scary looking clown. Curtains was exiled from his home planet and forced to find somewhere else to call his own. While passing through a distant galaxy, his ship had run out of fuel, requiring an emergency landing on a nearby planet called Truculentia. On September 16 2023, I began a learn-as-I-go process for making a 2D game in Unreal Engine using the Curtains character. Curtains The Clown is the result of finally living my dream despite my complete lack of game development knowledge and/or skills. It is my hope that it inspires others to start their own journey and make their own games as well.
