CHWÆST: A Creeping Parasite Horror Demo
About this game

CHWÆST Demo
A playable introduction to CHWÆST — a late-90s inspired retro 3D horror focused on exploration, light management, and a biological progression system.
In this demo, you experience the opening segment of the game and learn the core gameplay loop that defines CHWÆST.
Your objective in the demo
- Explore underground tunnels in first-person (FPP)
- Search for organic objects hidden in the environment
- Collect kerosene bottles to keep your oil lamp working
- Carry discovered items back to the Biomass Core (CHWÆST)
- Feed the Core to retract organic blockages and reopen paths
There are no weapons and no traditional enemy. The living organism itself blocks your way. Progress is not based on keys or doors, but on feeding the Biomass Core.
What this demo includes
- The full opening sequence
- The first playable tunnel area
- 1–2 outgrowth events that block your path
- A complete introduction to the progression mechanic

Genre: exploration horror / atmospheric retro 3D horror
This demo is a self-contained slice of the full game designed to clearly present the main mechanics, mood, and progression system of CHWÆST: progression = feeding the Core instead of using keys, outgrowths instead of doors, and food acting as the “keys” to move forward.
