Chest & Blade
About this game
A small idle RPG about getting unstuck
Chest & Blade starts simple: your hero walks into a stage, fights what comes, and either clears it or gets sent back to farm. You are not clicking every hit. You are deciding what to do after each wall.Pick a class, then make the build work
- Warrior is the safe start: solid damage, better health, fewer painful mistakes.
- Mage is fragile early, but Intelligence scaling turns good gear into big damage.
- Barbarian hits slowly and hits hard. Great when the numbers line up, rough when they do not.
Most of the game is in the gear
- Stages drop chests. Chests fill your inventory. Some drops are upgrades; most become material for the next one.
- Compare weapons, armor and accessories instead of blindly equipping the newest item.
- Salvage what you do not need, combine gear in the Forge, and slowly climb toward better rarities.
Numbers go up, but not all at once
- Class skills add active and passive power spikes.
- Runes give you slower, long-term bonuses to work toward.
- Augments appear as three-card choices, so a level-up can change what your build is leaning into.
- Quests and achievements give you extra reasons to clean up old goals while you push new stages.
Built for checking in
- Offline progress keeps rewards coming while you are away, up to the cap.
- If a boss is too much, go back, farm, open a few chests and try again.
- Optional auto-retreat can pull you back after repeated deaths, so progress does not sit on one impossible stage.
That is the game
Fight, get loot, make a few decisions, watch the numbers move. If you like idle games where the screen keeps working but the build still matters, Chest & Blade is built around that rhythm.
An idle RPG about chests, gear, and getting unstuck. Pick Warrior, Mage or Barbarian; your hero keeps fighting while you sort loot, craft upgrades, unlock skills, runes and augments, and try to push one stage further.
