Welcome to the demo of "Cardbound Heroes"! The game is still in development, with more content, cards and features planned. 

The Story So Far

Two hundred years ago, the undead invasion nearly destroyed the realm. After the dust settled, a powerful mage took no chances—he sealed the souls of the mightiest warriors into enchanted cards, vowing to be ready should darkness ever rise again.

Now, that time has come.

Strange creatures have begun to stir in the depths. Whispers of corruption echo from hidden caves. Gripping your old deck of Cardbound Heroes, you set out to uncover the source—before it's too late.

Combine Cards to Match Numbers

Choose two cards each turn. Combine their values to move across the map or strike down enemies.

Unlock Mighty Combos

Experiment with card pairings to discover powerful combos. Once unlocked, combos become permanent—play them to gain special one-time cards like weapons, artifacts, or spells.

Explore Evolving Biomes

Travel through multiple distinct biomes—each with its own procedural levels, enemies, and hazards.

Roguelite Campaign Structure

Each campaign begins with a small deck of 30 cards. Expand your options by defeating enemies or spending collected diamonds to buy new ones. Your deck resets between runs—but any combos you've discovered stay unlocked forever. More roguelite elements will be added during development.

A Story That Grows With You

The further you progress, the more the story—and your deck—evolve. Can you uncover the source of the corruption before it spreads beyond the biomes?
