BEYOND TENMEI is a dice-based RPG with an emphasis on managing a simple set of resources to fight back against RNG and surmount the challenges within multiple game-modes. Moving through stages and fighting enemies all involve rolling dice. The dice won't always roll in your favor, but you can spend MP to cast spells and change any dice on the board. Weigh the cost of doing so carefully, however, as running out of MP before a bad roll can be rather grave! All combatants, friendly or hostile, will react to the dice based on what Talents they possess. Keep the dice off of values that benefit the opponent while trying to trigger your own synergies and combos! -GAME MODES AVAILABLE IN THE DEMO- Classic Mode - Journey as a lone Brave of Salvation against the Demon Lord's forces in a 100-space, rogue-lite session where you choose a new spell at certain checkpoints. This is the same mode that will be available in the full game, so enjoy it to your heart's content! Rebel Mode - Tackle a slightly modified version of Classic Mode, but with a a party of three monster-kin rebelling against their lord! These party members do not level up from defeating enemies, but you will still find upgrades along the way. This is also a mode that will be available in the full game! Story Demo - A longer, persistent game mode that follows the story of the monster-kin as they discover the truth of their world. The demo version will feature 3 distinct stages from the main game, but with a silly fill-in story to demonstrate the game systems and give a glimpse of the progression system.

BEYOND TENMEI is a series of increasingly deviant takes on humanity's clash with The Demonarch and The 4 Worldly Desires.Dice determine what spaces you land on, how much damage you deal and take, and what happens during various events. Use your Spells to change any dice on the board and secure a good roll, but do so carefully; you don't want to run out of MP during a critical moment!
