Axe Me Why's demo serves as first contact of the world with players, containing small facets of the full experience and serving as a way to engage major developments for the main game & contribute feedback to development. The demo features the intro to the game, serving as a tutorial and then places you in Tsuki's home island. You are encouraged to take on a quest of listen to voice lines from surrounding NPCs. The quest requires the player to obtain 200 resources and return safely back home in 15 minutes. In the journey you will experience the 3D movement in a horde fighter, the two button build system with 16 available power ups and 6 classes to randomize between. As well as quirky voice lines from Tsuki herself depending on which terrain she finds herself in. These are the 3 building blocks that make our Horde Survivor unique and will be sampled in the demo. After returning home and submitting resources the Demo experience will reset.

Gameplay Overview
Your goal is simple: endure until you return home.
But survival depends on hard choices. During each run you’ll gather and ration four vital resources: Fuel, Canned Foods, Electronics, and Spirit Essence. These can be: Spent mid-battle to summon Ancestral Powers, unleashing devastating attacks or temporary buffs that can turn the tide.
Every run reshapes the world, introducing random events, and evolving challenges that test how well you can adapt under pressure. Special event islands appear at the 3, 6, 9, and 12-minute marks, offering reprieve islands or boss fights that pause the timer and expand your total expedition time. Returning home at the 15-minute mark completes the cycle, but players who explore every event can expect sessions of roughly 15 to 20 minutes.
