Avant-Garde: Napoleonic Battles is a real-time historical strategy game played on a hexagonal grid.

Relive historical battles from the Napoleonic era. Play as Napoleon or his rivals and maneuver under the same conditions. Modify or replay the course of the battle to confirm or refute its outcome. If necessary, change the composition of the armies to better assess what would have made a difference for each side. Experience the key events that led to certain strategic choices or try different approaches to gain the upper hand over your enemy.

• Historically authentic Napoleonic battles (terrain, weather, units, events, etc.)

• Play as Napoleon or his rivals

• Modify army composition to experience battles within a historical context

• Experience or avoid the key events that shaped the outcome of the battle

• Historical infantry, sapper, cavalry, and artillery units, each with its own strengths and formations

• Easy to learn, with simple or advanced orders depending on your experience level in real-time strategy games

Maneuver on the same terrain and in the same weather conditions as back then. Adapt to authentic enemy troop movements, as long as you follow the steps of history. Compose with the same units and their attributes: morale, ammunition, capabilities, expertise, formations etc.

Anticipate, precipitate or prevent major key events that have influenced the outcome of the battle as we know it. Whether it's the arrival of reinforcements, the death of a general or the explosion of a building, it's up to you to adapt. Use the full range of possibilities to your maximum advantage.

Avant-Garde will have a simple, concise tutorial, to ensure that every player understands how the game mechanics work. Two attack modes will be available: automatic attack and precise attack. So whether you're a beginner or an expert, the field of glory is within your grasp.
